How to edit your website

Editing is simple: just send a message

On Apptime, you edit your website by chatting with the artificial intelligence. Just describe what you want to change and the AI makes the modification for you.

Change text

Specify where the text is (section + visual reference) and paste the current text followed by the new text.

Request example:

"I want to replace the main title of the page, which is at the top above the gallery. Current text: Complete AI to generate professional websites. Replace with: Create your website in minutes with artificial intelligence."

Replace a photo or video

Attach the new image or video and indicate which one to replace using position or nearby text as reference.

Example with 1 photo:

"I want to replace the first image in the gallery, just below the title. Here's the photo attached."

Example with multiple photos:

"I want to replace all the photos in the gallery. Here are the images attached — replace them in the order they appear on the site."

Add a new section

You can ask to add entire sections to the website.

Example:

"Add a testimonials section just above the footer. I want 3 cards with photo, name, and testimonial text. You can use placeholder text for now."

Remove a section

Example:

"Remove the pricing section that is between the gallery and the footer."

Change colors and style

Example:

"Change the main color of the site from blue to dark green. Keep the rest of the design."

Change fonts

Example:

"Switch the heading font to Playfair Display and keep the body font as it is."

Quick tips

Always reference nearby text as a location guide
For text changes, paste the complete snippet exactly as it appears on the site
For multiple photos, number the attachments if order matters (photo1, photo2...)
You can request multiple changes in a single message
Be specific about which section you want to change
Use visual references like "the green button at the top" or "the image on the left"

Change text + image together

"In the 'About Us' section, replace the text 'We are an innovative company' with 'We transform ideas into results'. And replace the photo next to it with this one attached."

Reorder sections

"Move the testimonials section up, right after the hero. And place the services section after testimonials."

Add a button

"Add a 'Contact Us' button in the hero section, below the subtitle. The button should link to WhatsApp."
